We had a beautiful weekend, gorgeous skies and a camera to record it. What a lovely feeling.

Home from Europe

I didn’t update while we were in Europe because I didn’t have any good news about the cameras. The airline is “still tracking” them. Baloney. We had a wonderful time in Europe in spite of the way it began and found a great deal on a film SLR, so we still got to take some pictures. We got the color film back today and I had it scanned so we can show everyone a little of what we saw. I’m not going to go through and detail the trip, but we saw 3 cities in Germany (Frankfurt, Koblenz, and Landstuhl) and 6 cites in Italy (Vicenza, Trieste, Venezia-aka Venice, Bologna, Firenza-aka Florence, and Verona). Here are a few of the photos we took. I’m sure there will be more later.

Germany

Casey and I are in Germany! We will try to keep updating the blog regularly on our travels through Germany and Italy. No pictures today because our camera equipment didn’t make it on our flight somehow. We’re crossing our fingers that it turns up on one of the later flights today. Germany is gorgeous, although rainy. I’ll post more as soon as I can.

I Photoshop People

Casey and I just spent the last two days in beautiful San Diego, CA attending the I Photoshop People tour. We learned some new techniques to help speed up our photoshopping and we put what we learned to use last night. Casey worked on some of the pictures we had taken of Barry.

Snow in Vegas

Yesterday helped get us all in the Christmas spirit. We had one of the biggest snowstorms in the history of Vegas. Our house got the most snow in the whole valley. It was gorgeous! Last night I ran outside and took a few photos while it was snowing.

This morning was just as pretty!

Snickers didn’t know what to do!

Melissa - Class of 2009

Not only is Melissa smart, well-spoken and fun to be around, but she’s also one of the most awesomely photogenic people I’ve ever had the pleasure to shoot. Her incredible personality just oozes from every one of these pictures. I am the luckiest person alive. This young lady is going to change the world with her smile and her compassion, and I am honored to be her sister. Marrying Casey was the best decision I’ve ever made, not only cause he’s an incredible husband and all that ridiculous stuff, but because I ended up with an awesome sister. Liss, you make my life better because you love me. I love you too. Here’s just a teaser of your pictures. I had such a hard time narrowing them down. In spite of the HURRICANE FORCE winds, you look like a super model in all of them.

We braved a crazy dust storm to get these shots, people. And look at her. I wish my hair looked this good when we were done.

Love her shoes. So freakin cute!

This has got to be one of my favorite pictures that I have ever taken. Ever.
