She was at a bachelorette party in Vegas, and he was out for a night on the town. The second evening they spent together Johnnie told Karen he was going to marry her one day. He still has the poker chip from that first whirlwind evening of unexpected attraction. He proposed during her favorite holiday season, Christmas, on the top of the Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque. Romantic, fun, passionate, alive, in love…there are so many words I could use to describe these two, but their adoration for each other just shines from their photos. They’re wild about each other. And the laughter. I’ve never had so much fun photographing two people (and their dogs, I love you Biscuit and Buckeye!). Thanks for braving the heat and letting us be part of your lives. I hope you enjoy this little preview. Theres so many more awesome photos to share with you guys.

Can you believe the awesome light in Johnnie’s place. I think I would have been happy to stay there all day and photograph them. Just gorgeous.

We drug ourselves back out into the heat to show Karen Lake Las Vegas. This has got to be my new favorite place to take pictures. There is some amazing architecture and tons of gorgeous landscapes. Throw in a good looking couple with a whole lot of love for each other and that’s a recipe for stellar photography.

Later in the evening things got a little spicy, but you’ll have to wait to see those just a little longer.
